Dating back to the 11th century, this was the seat of the Hohenzollern dynasty — kings of Prussia and German emperors — and ranks alongside Neuschwanstein and Heidelberg as one of Germany’s three great castles.
Atop an 855 m peak, its chapel fills with organ music and stained-glass light. Limited to 20 couples a year, the plan includes two nights at the castle hotel Schloss Weitenburg.
